Principal's Message
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me,and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Then he had placed his hands on them and blessed them.
Dear Parents, Teachers, Students, Well-wishers and others who are directly or indirectly a great moral support to this institution, I am extremely happy to address you all from this digital platform. The above passage speaks about God’s tender heart for children. His willingness to devote time to them, His recognition of their societal status, and His zeal for protecting their innocence demonstrates His high regard.
And we all believe that children are priceless gift from God. Therefore we are reminded that children are a heritage from God and we are taught the importance of raising children and to be gentle and kind with them, and passionate about protecting them from harm. And children are instructed to be obedient to parents.
Swami Vivekananda who was a social reformer, philosopher and great thinker said “Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man.” St. Mary’s Convent School has been standing as a strong pillar for the past many years in fulfilling all aspirations of parents for a quality and a complete education and brings out the perfection in their wards. Keeping in mind the need of the hour and deep concerns of parents and the society our school always tries to train the intellect, refines the hearts, enforces a strong social-values, provides timely guidance, making persons to be committed, self-reliant, developing innate potentials, stimulating thought process, deepening insights, helping to balance the emotions, broadening horizons and initiation to equip life skills etc.
Further emphasizing Swami Vivekananda on “We want that education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one's own feet.” St. Mary’s school is unique in the town of Gajraula in the district of Amroha as it believes that everything is a learning and therefore school organizes and arranges various seminars, orientations, exposure and exchange programmes, field trips, club activity etc. so that every student gets amble opportunities to equip oneself for the future.
“Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, caliber, and future of an individual. If the people remember me as a good teacher, that will be the biggest honour for me” said our former President of India A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. The school down the year has witnessed many achievements in the academics, sports, cultural, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. For this I appreciate whole heartedly my dedicated teachers who are talented, committed, with full of creativity and zeal in bringing out the excellent results.
The management of the school is highly committed in the development of all those capacities in the individuals which will enable them to fully realize their potentials and become a good citizen of our country. I would conclude in the words of our former Prime minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee who envisaged “I have a vision of India-an India free of hunger and fear, an India free of illiteracy and want.” So let us work towards this vision by our dedicated service, cooperation and collaboration.
God bless all our students, Teachers, Parents, Management, Well-wishers and the Institution.
Jai Hind! Jai Bharat!
May God Bless us!
